The Business
My client is located n the Northern Suburbs, a large practice with multiple Partners and more than 40 staff. The business has been growing steadily over recent years, having started out as a sole practitioner the position has come around through this consistent growth. 
The practice provides honest and innovative advice to an established client base, helping their clients manage wealth and plan for growth. 
 The Opportunity
As a Senior Accountant, you will be trained and brought into a Client Manager role. You will be responsible for a small fee base around half a million dollars depending on your experience level. It is an exciting role because it will mean a clear route of progression to senior management and beyond.
Aside from the standard accounting requirements such as preparing accounts and financial statements, you will enjoy a varied workload which will see you continually up skill:
  • Manage client relationships, and implement financial management strategies
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Delegate, assist and review the work of graduates and junior accountants, including assisting with training and technical queries
  • Manage workflow, budgets and debtors
  • Cross sell of other business functions; financial planning, superannuation

 About You
You will need to be driven, and prepared to learn and continue learning. The firm prides itself on the training and technical level that each of their staff are at. There is a really good team atmosphere so interest in working as part of a larger team will also be required. In addition to: 
  • 5+ years in Public Practice
  • CA or CPA completed or near complete
  • Confident in your technical and tax knowledge
  • Ambitious personality

  • Previous experience managing workflow
  • Experience reviewing others work as a minimum
